Our Story
William's Gardens was founded in 2020 by William Belfield, a Kirikiriroa-based landscaper with a voracious passion for plants, outdoor spaces, and the people who live in them.
What started as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted team, offering everything from weekly grounds maintenance, through to full landscape design and transformation.
We work across the greater Hamilton area with a simple philosophy: do the job properly, treat each property with respect, and always act in our client's best interests. This means honest advice, realistic quotes, and work we're proud to put our name on.
We're not the kind of business that upsells you on things you don't need. If a simpler solution will serve you better, we'll tell you. If a project needs specialist input, we bring it in. What we offer is a team that genuinely cares about the best possible outcome — not just for your garden, but for you.

From concept to completion, our focus is on design that is beautiful, functional, and right for your land. Whether you need an on-the-fly plan, or a fully drafted, to-scale design, our team will bring your vision to life with expertise and care.
Garden & Grounds Maintenance
Reliable, tailored care for your individual needs – fortnightly, monthly, or as needed. We handle lawns, garden beds, hedges, gutters, herbicide and fertiliser applications, tree care, mulching, and mould treatments. Whatever your goals, we'll build a maintenance schedule that works for you.
Paving & Hard Landscaping
We install structural elements such as paving, garden edging and delineation in timber or metal, raised planters, feature pots, and hardscaping elements designed to anchor the space and work beautifully with surrounding planting.
Fencing & Retaining
We offer uncapped, fully capped, and espalier fencing alongside retaining walls in H4 timber, punga, and stone – solid, well-finished structures, built to last.
